Terms & Conditions
The placing of an order, either verbally or in writing, with Norwyn Ltd constitutes an acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1 Express Photography
Products will be photographed on a plain background with no cut out or image manipulation unless the relevant costs are applied. This may mean some reflections occur as a result of lighting. Turn around time is 48 hours. Images will be posted on the web site for approval. Once approved changes will not be made and payment will be required in full before the release of the images If an item is deemed by Norwyn Ltd to be too large or too heavy for product photography the relevant creative photography rate will be applied.
Delivery and collection of the products is the responsibility of the client, however Norwyn Ltd can arrange for the return of the product at an additional cost
2 Creative Photography
Photography will take place either in our studio or on location. For location photography a mileage charge applies. A minimum charge of £150.00 plus VAT applies. The processing of images incurs an additional charge which includes the supply of images on disc, e-mail or FTP. Clipping paths and cut outs incur an additional charge. Delivery and collection of the products is the responsibility of the client, however Norwyn Ltd can arrange for the return of the product at an additional cost
3 Photography instructions
The client must be clear in their instructions. Any misunderstandings will remain the responsibility of the client. Norwyn Ltd will undertake any re-shoots/re-printing/re-mounting at the client’s expense if Norwyn Ltd have followed the original briefing.
4 Insurance
Norwyn Ltd have a level of insurance covering client’s products whilst on their premises, however for more valuable items we recommend clients taking out their own additional insurance cover. Clients are responsible for insuring their products whilst in transit. Norwyn Ltd will not be liable if a product is damaged or lost in transit therefore unable to be photographed/printed/mounted as per the original briefing.
5 Purchase orders
Clients using a purchase order system must provide a purchase order prior to work commencing. Failure to do so will result in a delay to turnaround times as work will not be released until the purchase order has been received.
6 Copyright
Copyright remains with Norwyn Ltd. Clients may use images photographed by Norwyn free of charge for 12 months, after this time copyright usage can be negotiated.
7 Payment of Invoices
Subject to status and a minimum monthly order, Norwyn Ltd may accept a client on account terms. The payment of invoices is strictly 30 days from the date of the invoice. If payment exceeds this term, Norwyn Ltd reserve the statutory right to apply late payment fees and charges as per the late payment legislation. Late payment may result in the withdrawal of account terms.
8 Privacy Policy
Norwyn Ltd respect your privacy so will use information gathered only to update their records, to send details of promotions and special offers and for market research. We do not retain any details regarding payments made by credit/debit cards. Information is not shared or passed to a third party. If at any time clients do not wish to receive marketing information they may inform us to remove them from our mailing list.
